Welcome to Security And Firearms Education (S.A.F.E.), an institution dedicated to providing training of the highest quality and professionalism. We take pride in offering good citizens the training necessary to increase their mental awareness and their ability to respond to dangerous situations. Our goal is to help educate everyday citizens and increase their safety in the world around them, not to create superheroes. To this end, our classes’ focus is largely preventative observation and preparation. With the new perception we hope to impart, most critical situations should be resolved before they become life threatening. Our ultimate goal is to keep good citizens healthy and safe through knowledge and training.
History
Security And Firearms Education began as just an idea to do exactly what our name sounds like. Our desire was to educate good people in how to secure their surroundings by educating them in a professional manner consistent with the highest standards of training. The company began to take shape in 2004 in Quincy California as an alternative option for the Plumas county CCW class. From there it has grown to encompass instructional disciplines from the NRA as well as classes home grown from top-notch training at such institutions as Front Sight Shooting Academy, Adventure Medicine, as well as research from other great shooting instructors from across the country. Our style of instruction is not meant to be the one great end all word on training, the breadth of our research is intended to give our instructors the ability to find a training method for any individual’s specific needs. This variety lends incredible flexibility to our training programs in addition to a well-rounded knowledge base with which to refer greater specialization on a particular training subject if necessary.
